Hilltop Wellfield

About The Project

Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department (GCSED) is developing a 57-acre property on Hilltop Road for use as a groundwater-producing wellfield. This water supply will be conveyed to the GCSED’s water treatment plant and subsequently distributed to Greene County’s water customers. The purpose of this project is to improve and expand the available water supply to provide an additional 3- to 5-million gallons of water per day for current and future growth projections.

Residents should anticipate some localized construction traffic starting in late 2024.
