State Senator Bob Hackett announced on June 11, 2024 that Greene County will be receiving a $2.5 million in gap funding to “complete, improve, and expand the available water supply” through the development of a groundwater-producing wellfield on a property located on Hilltop Road, writes WHIO TV 7. 

“It is important to keep our water systems safe, updated, and maintained so our neighborhoods stay a great place to live and work,” Senator Hackett stated. “These funds are going to have a positive impact.”
