Featured in Opflow: Volume 51, Issue 8, the upgraded Northwest Regional Water Treatment Plant fully transition the Northwest Regional Water System to soften water. The plant upgrades included the installation of reverse-osmosis filtration, which removes contaminants like calcium, magnesium, bacteria and PFAS from water. This directly benefits 1800 homes and businesses. The project marked the highest public investment in Greene County’s history.
